• Team and contractor information you provide

• Error logs and performance data for service reliability
• Usage patterns within the platform

• Retrieve property compliance data from NYC government agencies on your behalf
• Generate compliance scores, reports, and auto-filled regulatory forms
• Provide AI-powered violation explanations and remediation suggestions
• Send notifications about violations, deadlines, and compliance updates via email, SMS, and push notifications
• Facilitate team collaboration and contractor management
• Monitor and improve service reliability and performance

3. Information Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in our operations, including:

• Cloud infrastructure and database hosting providers
• Payment processing services
• AI and machine learning providers (for violation explanations; see Section 5)
• Email and SMS delivery services
• Mapping and geolocation services
• Error monitoring and application performance services

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and in accordance with this policy.

• Team members you have authorized (property data, violations, files)

4. Data from Public Sources

bayitGO retrieves publicly available data from NYC government agencies and other public sources to provide compliance tracking services. This includes violation records, permits, complaints, property records, and related public filings.

While the underlying data is public, the bayitGO Compliance Score and its methodology are proprietary. The Compliance Score is calculated using our proprietary algorithms and represents our intellectual property, not public data.

5. AI Data Processing

When you use AI explanation features, certain violation and complaint data (such as descriptions, categories, and status) is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. We do not send your name, email, address, or other personal identifiers to the AI provider.

AI-generated content may contain errors and is for informational purposes only. Users should verify information with official sources and consult licensed professionals before taking action.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

bayitGO uses cookies and similar technologies for:

• Authentication and session management
• Site access controls (beta/early access gating)
• Remembering your preferences

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or web analytics tracking cookies.

7. Notifications

bayitGO may send notifications via email, SMS, and browser push notifications based on your preferences. You can manage or opt out of notifications at any time through your account settings or by revoking browser permissions. Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS notifications.

8. File Uploads

Files you upload are stored securely and are accessible only to you, your authorized team members, and bayitGO administrators. Files are validated for type and size before storage. Uploaded files are retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon account deletion.

9. Team Data Sharing

When you create or join a team, property data, violations, complaints, files, and compliance information are shared among team members according to their assigned roles. Team administrators can invite and remove members. By joining a team, you consent to sharing your contributed data with other team members.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and input validation.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Account data, uploaded files, and property data are retained until you request deletion or close your account. Error logs and monitoring data are retained for a limited period in accordance with our operational needs.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of email, SMS, and push notifications
• Request information about how your data is processed
